Billboards and stickers of the musical programme—Mega Street Praise 2015 featuring Pastor Ovie, Pastor Onos, Kathy Jakes, Judewind, Kelvin Sapp, Teekee, Young Chief, Apostle Paul— has gone out throughout the city of Warri and beyond.

MAIN EVENT: #MSP2015

Since it was a street praise, the programme was ‘venued’ at Ijaw street by Victory Avenue junction. The stage—which was constructed with metal poles interlocked together— had the programme's billboard coupled with a red material at both extreme at the background. The stage also housed about four speakers, a drum set, two keyboards, a guitar and had a white-red decoration at the front. Opposite the stage were chairs neatly arranged and to the left were another group of chairs reserved for clergy members and guest Artistes and there were also chairs to the right hand side.

As at 4:00pm, the venue was still undergoing arrangement chiefly by the sound crew who tuned the microphones and made sure the speakers and fancy light, placed at strategic position, were working. The flight of the programme took off at exactly 5:04pm with Pastor Theophilus who led the opening prayer with series of prayer and warm worship. The first and second stanza of the Nigerian National anthem was then taken before Pastor Oruma—who was clad in black suite, black trouser and a white shirt spotted with black—welcomed the audience to the programme and officially opened the programme at 5:17pm.

The first reading was done by Evan Sandra— who was clad in a jean topped in a black T-shirt of the programme— which was taken from Psalm 9. Pastor Oruma came back on stage and introduced MC Shakara who anchored the programme. The second reading was taken from psalm 124 by a Pastor. The Pavilion voices flowed into the stage at 5:30pm with the praise session which took two consecutive quantum leap as there was a change of lead singer.

Bro. Peter and Daniel came on stage as they praised God in Hip-Hop before Sis. Sandra clad in a pink gown came on stage as she gave a chorographical step with the song: Lord, You Are Holy. Pastor  Oruma stepped up stage around 6:17pm to do the recognition of some guests. He introduced Clergy members like Pastor Isreal, Pastor Emmauel, Pastor Efe Apkososo, Pastor Clement Oruma and guest Artistes like Evang Koppa, Kathy Jakes, Minister Divine, Pastor Ovie, Kelvin Sapp. He also appreciated community leaders who were present for their enormously effort to the success of the programme. Pavilion voices slided into stage at 6:32pm as they started with the Let-Your-Praise-Come-before-the-Lord song before Minister Divine led the I-Gota-The-Victory song which got the audience dancing.

EVANG KOPPA—dressed in a native attire of green wrapper and purple top— came on stage with his crew members at about 6:55pm. He spring forth with streams of worship in the isoko languge and broke loosed into a praise session with series of songs in same language as he left stage at around 7:06pm. MC Shakara made welcome two stand-up comedians, YOUNG CHIEF and KELVIN SAPP. They both thrilled the audience with their jokes before Kelvin Sapp sang few songs before they left stage. KATHY JAKES came up with her crew members. A heavy weight of silence came upon the audience as she sang some songs. There was a break as she unveiled her success story how after married, the doctor told her she had no womb but out of nothing, God gave her three kids. She then burst forth into songs like GOD ALMIGHTY YOU ARE BEAUTIFUL, YES YOU ARE THE LORD, I NEVER SEE ANYONE LIKE YOU, YOU ARE THE REASON, CASTING CROWNS, I GORIFY YOUR NAME, IMELA, YOU ARE THE GREAT AND MIGHTY GOD, OGHENE DOH. She gave words of encouragement and prayers before she led the audience to sing their own songs to God.

Pastor Oruma then came on stage and made an altar call for sinners who want Christ and to heaven's joy, so many people responded to the call. Minister Divine came on stage with his crew members as they started with the Twale songs and went uphill with songs like na you be god, hosonna. he got to the climax with the I for don die song before APOSTLE PAUL and HENRY YOUNG came up and led the audience on a short laugh journey. Pastor (Mrs) Oruma came on stage and prayed for the community before Pastor Oruma came and rounded off the prayer and helped Kelvin Sapp 'market' his CD.

The craziest man, Pastor Ovie, stormed the stage as he began pouring out his worship medley to God. He told the audience about how humanly impossible it was for his wife to give birth but God miraculously gave him two kids. He got drunk in more songs with his lead guitarist who displayed with skillfullness before he prophesied and left stage. TEEKEE came and praised God with their Yoruba medley. Pst. Onos came up at about 9:55pm and dished out his praise medley. JUDEWIND came up with his saxophone and played just like David in the Bible before the ITSEKRI GROUP came up.

The programme came to a halt at around 10:43pm. MEGA STREET PRAISE 2015 WAS A HUGE SUCCESS and we all wait for MSP 2016.
